CR 38, North Sea Road Sidewalks Questionnaire
Suffolk County DPW will begin a project to reconstruct approximately 2.3 miles of CR 38, North Sea Road, from CR 39 to Noyack Road. The existing concrete roadway requires full-depth pavement rehabilitation and asphalt resurfacing. The included drainage improvements along the entire corridor will mitigate localized flooding and prevent stormwater runoff from going directly into nearby freshwater wetlands. Also, curbs and sidewalks are not continuous and will be updated to meet ADA standards.
In response to constituent concerns, Suffolk County DPW is requesting input to determine the level of community support for sidewalks along CR 38, North Sea Road. All comments on any aspect of this project are welcome and please be as detailed as possible.
