A message from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority - LIRR:
“Due to inclement weather, the final paving work originally scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, May 16th has been rescheduled to next Tuesday, May 20th. Work will begin at 7AM until approximately 5PM. This paving marks the final step in the grade crossing renewal project at Snake Hollow Road, which is part of our continued efforts to enhance safety and service quality.
As previously mentioned, Snake Hollow Road will be fully closed, with local access only, MTAPD will be onsite to support the closure. We recommend using Buffer Lane as an alternate route. We appreciate your continued understanding and support as we complete this important improvement!”
