Youth Court is a national program in which youth offenders are sentenced by their peers for minor offenses or problem behaviors. In Youth Court, youth volunteers are responsible for conducting a real court case. They act as judge, prosecuting attorney, defending attorney, jury, and various other positions held in a court room. At the end of a hearing, the jury decides on an appropriate sentence for the offender.
