Parks & Recreation Department

The Parks & Recreation Department manages our local beaches and recreational areas, while also addressing many other town maintenance needs, such as the street lighting repairs.

The Parks & Recreation Department also offers a wide variety of recreational programs for residents of all ages at locations throughout Southampton Town. From instructional programs and sports leagues, to exercise and health and safety courses, there is something for everyone. As these various programs vary seasonally, each is listed in a quarterly brochure distributed by email, social media and at local libraries, chambers of commerce, and on the website. Residents can also register to have a copy emailed to them each season by using NOTIFY ME on the top of the page. Put your email address in the box, sign in and make sure you click on Parks and Recreation.

The Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the launch of our new recreation software program. The online registration and reservation system will make it easier than ever to sign up for programs, book facilities, explore all our activities, and get event information in one place
