The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau will host “Kids Cooking Club” every Thursday (October 19th – December 7th) from 4:00pm – 5:30pm at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road. Participants in grades 4 – 8 will learn the basics of culinary and kitchen safety skills with Chef Keith. Chef Keith has a Masters Degree in Social Work along with decades of experience working with youth. His curriculum will also focus on the principles of social and emotional education. Program cost is $100 for a seven-week session - scholarships are available. Space is very limited and pre-registration is required! The Southampton Youth Bureau is currently accepting new member registrations for their "Teen Views" program. Participants will learn how to interview, create creditable stories, film & edit video, and produce content for TV. Program begins Thursday, October 5th – Pre-registration is required. Meetings will be held on Thursdays from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at the Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Ave. Teen Views is open to grades 7 - 12 and community service credits are available!
