What are the Town’s rules for animals “at large”?
The Southampton Town Code states that it is unlawful for any dog or other domestic animal to be at large. “At large” is defined as any animal that is unleashed and on property open to the public or is on private property not owned or leased by the owner of the animal, unless permission for such presence has been obtained.
