How can I view or pay a tax bill online and is there a charge?
Paying your taxes online is easy through the Town’s website. If you are a first-time user, or cannot remember your login information, you will need to create a username and password (which is very fast). You can then search for your property by address (easiest), owner’s last name, tax map number, or current bill number. Alll of this information is included on your tax bill.
BR>Paying online costs only $1 for an electronic check (ACH). Like other bills you might have paid, you will only need your bank account number and routing number, which are located on the bottom of the checks from your bank. Should you want to pay by credit card, the processing company, not the Town, will charge a 2% fee. When you pay online, you will be able to print a receipt immediately.
