Does the Town offer Adult Day Care?

Companionship and stimulation for a special population of the elderly is provided. Whether limited in their ability to function independently, physically impaired, socially isolated, or with Alzheimer’s or dementia, we are able to provide relief, referrals and support for caregivers, while a loved one is in a safe and nurturing environment.

Weekdays, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday-Friday a continental breakfast and tasty, hot lunch at the Hampton Bays Community Center are part of the program. A full day of programs and transportation are provided for a very reasonable fee.

The Adult Day Care Program is filled with invigorating programs that are both mentally and physically stimulating. These include: exercise, word and memory games, current events, sing-along’s, entertainment, reminiscing, recreational games, intergenerational programs and the arts from music, to art and dance.
