On Aug 3, the Parks Department hosted their annual Jr Lifeguard Tournament Day for kids aged 7-16 who trained in the Nipper Guard, Jr Lifeguard, & Cadet programs for the last 5 weeks. The event featured friendly but fierce competitions at Ponquogue Beach.
