Today, in recognition of National Substance Use Prevention Month, HUGS and SAFE in Southampton teamed up with Hampton Coffee Company to launch the “Coffee Break Campaign” at Hampton Coffee Company in Hampton Bays and Westhampton Beach. Throughout the month of October, medium-sized hot coffee drinks will be served in cups with positive and uplifting messages that can be shared on social media.
Councilwoman Cyndi McNamara, liaison to SAFE in Southampton, attended the event and stated, “This campaign is part of an ongoing commitment to building a healthier community. Through initiatives like this, we can promote mental wellness and support one another through positive messaging.”
